Bromex Syrup Syrup is used to loosen thick mucus and make a chesty cough easier to clear.

Uses of Bromex Syrup are:

• Depolymerises Mucopolysaccharides: Bromhexine acts on certain fibre-like substances in stubborn sputum – a mix of saliva and mucus coughed up from your respiratory tract – known as mucopolysaccharides. It breaks them apart or depolymerises them, making secretions less sticky and thick.

By doing these two actions, Bromhexine turns thick, sticky mucus into a thinner, less sticky form that's easier to cough up and clear from your breathing passages, helping you breathe better.

2. The syrup should be kept in its original amber glass bottle to protect it from light.
