Betnovate GM Cream 20gm

Betnovate-GM Cream is used to treat various skin conditions that are infected, such as eczematous dermatitis, contact dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, nummular eczema, atopic dermatitis, stasis dermatitis, and psoriasis. It is also effective in managing intertrigo and infected diaper rash.

Using Betnovate-GM Cream is easy. Follow these simple steps:

• Make sure the affected area is clean and dry before applying the cream.
• Apply a thin layer to the infected areas as directed by your doctor.
• Gently rub in until fully absorbed.
• Remember not to use more than what's prescribed or recommended by your doctor.
• Wash your hands thoroughly after applying unless your hands are in the area being treated.
• Avoid contact with the eyes or mucosal surfaces. If accidentally applied, rinse thoroughly with water.

Betnovate-GM Cream is applied topically.

Betnovate-GM Cream contains three active ingredients, betamethasone (0.1 %), gentamicin (0.1 %) and miconazole (2 %):

• Betamethasone (0.1%): A potent corticosteroid, betamethasone reduces inflammation, itching, and redness by acting on the skin cells to suppress the release of substances that cause inflammation.
• Gentamicin (0.1%): As an aminoglycoside antibiotic, gentamicin effectively works against a wide range of bacteria. Its primary function is to inhibit bacterial protein synthesis, which stops their growth and multiplication.
• Miconazole (2%): Miconazole is an anti-fungal medication belonging to the imidazole class. It disrupts the fungal cell membrane structure, leading to the death of the fungus and hence controlling the infection.
• Chlorocresol (0.1%): Chlorocresol is a potent antiseptic and disinfectant
• These components work together to manage bacterial and fungal skin infections effectively.

• Store Betnovate-GM Cream at room temperature, ideally between 15 to 30°C.
• Keep the cream in a dry place, away from excessive light and moisture.
• Avoid storing it in hot or cold extremes, like near a radiator or in the fridge.
• Always remember to keep Betnovate-GM Cream out of reach of children.
• Make sure to use it before the expiry date mentioned on the pack.
