Aztor 10 Tablet 10 is used to manage high cholesterol and triglyceride levels in adults, helping to reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases such as heart attack and stroke.

Uses of Aztor 10 Tablet 10 are:

• High Cholesterol: Reduces harmful LDL cholesterol and triglycerides while raising HDL (good) cholesterol.
• Cardiovascular Risk Reduction: Helps prevent the buildup of fatty deposits in arteries, lowering the risk of heart attack and stroke.

• Take Aztor 10 Tablet 10 exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
• You can take it at any time of day, with or without food. Take it at the same time each day.
• Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not crush or chew it.
• Keep taking it even when you feel well, and do not stop without talking to your doctor. High cholesterol usually has no symptoms.

Aztor 10 Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Aztor 10 Tablet 10 contains Atorvastatin 10 mg, a cholesterol-lowering medicine. It works in the following ways:

• It blocks an enzyme in the liver (HMG-CoA reductase) that is responsible for cholesterol synthesis in the body.
• This leads to reduced cholesterol production in the liver.
• It also increases the expression of LDL receptors in the liver, enhancing the clearance of circulating lipids from the blood.

• Store Aztor 10 Tablet 10 below 30°C, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
• Keep it out of the reach of children.
• Do not use it after the expiry date printed on the pack.
• Return any unused or expired medicine to your pharmacist for safe disposal.

• Eat a heart-healthy diet with plenty of vegetables, fruit and whole grains, and limit saturated and fried foods.
• Be active. Aim for about 30 minutes of activity, such as brisk walking, on most days, and keep to a healthy weight.
• Do not smoke, and limit alcohol.
