Augmentin 625 Duo Tablet is used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections, including those affecting the ear, sinuses, throat, lungs, urinary tract, skin, teeth, and bones. It helps fight infections and supports faster recovery.

Augmentin 625 Duo Tablet should be administered orally.

Augmentin 625 Duo Tablet comprises two medications, Amoxycillin and Clavulanic Acid. These work together to destroy bacteria that cause infections. Amoxycillin acts by inhibiting bacterial growth. However, clavulanic acid decreases resistance and increases amoxycillin's antibacterial effectiveness.

• One possible adverse effect is diarrhoea. Combining Augmentin 625 Duo Tablet with probiotics may be useful. You should see a doctor if you have abdominal pain or see blood in your faeces.
• When taking Augmentin 625 Duo Tablet, avoid taking antacids within 2 hours before or after consuming the tablet.
