Hydrochlorothiazide (12.5 Mg) + S-amlodipine (5 Mg)

Asomex D 5 Tablet 15 is used to manage high blood pressure (hypertension). It is a combination medicine that belongs to the diuretic and calcium channel blocker classes.

Asomex D 5 Tablet 15 is used for:

Management of high blood pressure (hypertension)
Controlling blood pressure when a single medicine is not enough
Helping reduce the risk of heart disease, stroke, and kidney complications related to high blood pressure

Follow these instructions while taking Asomex D 5 Tablet 15:

Take it exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not crush, break, or chew the tablet.
Take this medicine at the same time each day for better blood pressure control.
Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor, even if you feel well.

Asomex D 5 Tablet 15 is taken orally.

Asomex D 5 Tablet 15 may cause the following common side effects:

Headache
Dizziness
Swelling of ankles or feet
Fatigue or weakness
Frequent urination (especially at the beginning of treatment)
Stomach discomfort
Flushing (warmth or redness of face)
Low blood pressure (feeling light-headed)
