Amplinak Ophthalmic Suspension 5ml

Amplinak Ophthalmic Suspension is used to reduce eye pain and inflammation following cataract surgery. It also may help reduce the risk of macular oedema (swelling in the retina) and which may help improve eye comfort after surgery.

• Amplinak Eye Drops are meant for topical ophthalmic use.
• Shake well before use.
• Wash your hands before using the eye drops.
• Tilt your head backwards and gently pull down the lower eyelid until there is a small pocket. 
• Turn the bottle upside down and gently squeeze it to release drops into the eye. Let go of the lower lid and close your eyes for 30 seconds. Repeat the same for the other eye if it also needs treatment.
• If a drop misses your eye, try again. 
• Do not touch the tip of the dropper to avoid contamination. 
• If you use more than one eye drops, wait 5-10 minutes between their application. 

Amplinak Eye Drops are meant for topical ophthalmic use only.

Amplinak Eye Drops contain Nepafenac (0.1% w/v). It is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that acts by:

• Inhibiting the production of prostaglandin in the body, which causes pain and inflammation.
• This helps reduce pain and inflammation after cataract surgery.

• Store this medicine at a temperature below 30 ºC.
• Protect it from sunlight.
• Keep Amplinak Eye Drops away from children.
• Use the medication within one month after opening.

• If you wear contact lenses, do not wear them after cataract surgery. Your doctor will advise you when you can use contact lenses again.
• Avoid sunlight while using these drops. 
• Minimise touching or rubbing your eyes to reduce the risk of irritation and infection while using these drops.
• Do not stop using these drops without speaking to your doctor first. 
• Schedule regular eye check-ups with your eye care specialist to monitor your eye health and discuss any concerns or potential adjustments to your treatment plan.
