Amantex Er 193 Tablet 10 is used in adults for the management of Parkinson's disease and movement-related disorders, helping ease tremors, stiffness and slowness of movement.
It contains amantadine, an antiparkinson medicine that also has antiviral properties and may be used to prevent or treat Influenza A infection, or to control Parkinson-like symptoms caused by certain other medicines. Take it as prescribed, with or without food, and do not stop suddenly without your doctor's advice.
Pacing daily activities, using assistive aids if advised, and gentle regular exercise such as walking or stretching can help manage stiffness and improve mobility alongside this medicine.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor about any kidney problems, seizures, heart failure or mental health conditions. Report confusion, hallucinations, swelling of the legs, or unusual mood changes to your doctor promptly.
