CompositionAcenac-MR Tablet is used to relieve pain, inflammation, and muscle spasms caused by osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis, helping ease stiffness and improve joint movement.
It contains aceclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that reduces pain and inflammation; paracetamol, which relieves pain; and thiocolchicoside, a muscle relaxant that eases muscle spasm. Take it as prescribed, generally with food to reduce stomach upset.
Gentle stretching, staying physically active within your comfort level, and applying warmth to stiff joints or muscles can help improve mobility and support pain relief alongside this medicine. Maintaining a healthy weight also reduces strain on affected joints.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have a history of stomach ulcers, kidney or liver problems, or are taking other pain-relieving medicines. Contact your doctor if you notice black stools, persistent stomach pain, or unusual bruising. This medicine is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding without medical advice. Thiocolchicoside is intended only for short-term use and should not be used during pregnancy, breastfeeding or when pregnancy is possible without reliable contraception.
