Vitalyte Powder is used for restoring electrolyte balance and promoting hydration after physical exertion. It combines essential electrolytes, such as Sodium Chloride, Potassium Chloride and Sodium Citrate, with Dextrose to support rapid recovery, rehydration and energy replenishment. The formulation helps maintain proper fluid balance and supports muscle and nerve function, making it ideal for use during or after exercise, heat exposure or dehydration. By replacing the key electrolytes lost through sweat, this product ensures your body stays hydrated.

• Sodium Chloride: Commonly known as table salt, Sodium Chloride is essential for maintaining the body's fluid balance. It helps in supporting healthy blood pressure, hydration and nerve transmission. The inclusion of Sodium Chloride ensures the proper functioning of muscles and nerves, supporting the movement of fluids in and out of cells.
   
• Potassium Chloride: Potassium is a vital mineral that plays a key role in muscle contraction, nerve function and fluid balance. Potassium Chloride replenishes potassium levels in the body, which can be depleted during physical activity. It helps manage muscle cramps and supports heart function, contributing to electrolyte balance.
   
• Sodium Citrate: Sodium Citrate is a compound made from citric acid and sodium, often used to maintain the body's pH balance. • Take the recommended amount of Vitalyte Powder (as per package instructions or doctor’s guidance).
• Dissolve the powder in the specified amount of clean drinking water (usually indicated on the packaging).
• Stir the solution well until fully dissolved.
• Drink the rehydration solution in small sips to ensure proper absorption.
• Best used during or after physical activity, dehydration or fluid loss due to illness (such as diarrhoea or vomiting).
• It can also be used to restore electrolyte balance during hot weather or strenuous activities.

• Read the label carefully before use.
• Store in a cool, dry place.
• Keep out of the reach of children.
• Always reconstitute Vitalyte ORS with clean drinking water. Do not boil the reconstituted solution.
• Use the solution within one hour of reconstitution or within 24 hours if stored in the refrigerator.
• Avoid adding any other ingredients to the reconstituted solution.
• Vitalyte ORS is not suitable for severe dehydration cases that require intravenous (IV) supplementation.
• In infants under 3 years of age with diarrhoea, seek immediate medical attention.
• If symptoms persist in adults after 24-48 hours, consult a doctor.
• Use under medical supervision, particularly in patients with underlying health conditions such as heart disease, renal issues or diabetes.
• Not recommended for patients with conditions like hyperkalemia, liver cirrhosis or severe undernutrition.
• Monitor potassium levels in elderly patients.
• Consult a healthcare provider if you're pregnant, lactating or taking medications that affect fluid balance.
