• Xylometazoline Hydrochloride: This ingredient acts as a nasal decongestant by narrowing the blood vessels in the nasal passages. It is commonly used to manage temporary congestion associated with seasonal changes. By reducing nasal swelling, it encourages improved airflow for easier breathing. The formulation supports short-term use to minimise discomfort caused by nasal blockage. It is recommended to use this ingredient-based solution for a limited duration or as advised.

• Sorbitol Solution (70%) (Non-Crystallising): This ingredient is included in the formulation to retain moisture and help manage excessive dryness in the nasal passages. It contributes to the overall texture and consistency of the solution, making it more comfortable to apply. As a humectant, it assists in keeping the nasal lining hydrated. Its presence in the formulation helps balance the effects of other ingredients. Sorbitol is commonly used in various liquid formulations to improve stability.

• Other Ingredients: Benzalkonium Chloride, Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, Aqueous Buffered Vehicle.

• Encourages Temporary Relief from Nasal Congestion: Xylometazoline Hydrochloride in the formulation works by narrowing blood vessels in the nasal passages, which helps reduce swelling. Its formulation supports short-term use for managing nasal blockage. Regular use should be limited to the recommended duration.

• Supports Moisturisation of Nasal Passages: Sorbitol Solution (70%) (Non-Crystallising) contributes to keeping the nasal lining hydrated. This ingredient retains moisture, reducing the chances of excessive dryness due to environmental factors. Its humectant properties help maintain the nasal tissue’s natural balance. By managing dryness, it promotes comfort during application. The formulation is designed to ensure a smooth experience with each use.

• Encourages Stability and Safe Application: Benzalkonium Chloride functions as a preservative to maintain the product’s integrity over time. It helps in managing microbial contamination, ensuring that the formulation remains safe for use. This ingredient plays a key role in maintaining the quality and consistency of the product. Its presence allows for continued effectiveness without unwanted changes in composition. This ensures a stable formulation throughout its usage period.

• Ensures Smooth and Even Application: Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose is included in the formulation to provide the solution with a suitable consistency.
