Oxum Solution 500 ML

Oxum Solution is used for debriding and irrigating acute and chronic wounds, ulcers, cuts, abrasions, and burns. It is formulated with Oxidised Water (99.97%) and Hypochlorous Acid (0.006%). This super-oxidised solution is bactericidal, fungicidal, virucidal, and sporicidal, helping reduce inflammation, manage infections, and promote faster wound healing. 

• Oxidised Water (99.97%): It serves as the base of the solution, providing a stable medium for hypochlorous acid while maintaining hydration and facilitating wound irrigation.
   
• Hypochlorous Acid (0.006%): It is a powerful yet gentle oxidising agent with bactericidal, fungicidal, virucidal, and sporicidal properties. It helps reduce microbial load, manage infections, decrease inflammation, and promote faster wound healing.

• Assists in Debriding Wounds: Oxum Solution is used for gently removing dead, damaged, or infected tissue from acute and chronic wounds, ulcers, cuts, abrasions, and burns. This process, known as debridement, is crucial for preparing the wound bed and promoting optimal healing conditions.
   
• Manages Irrigating Wounds: The solution effectively cleanses the wound by flushing out dirt, debris, bacteria, and other contaminants. The irrigation reduces the risk of infection, helps maintain a moist and sterile wound environment, and supports the natural healing process.

• Apply directly to the affected area by spraying, pressure jetting, pouring or via a saturated gauze dressing.

• Minor side effects may include a burning sensation, skin irritation, or itching. 
• Store below 30°C and use it within 30 days of opening.
