Ovidine Jar 5 % Ointment 250 GM

Ovidine Jar 5 % Ointment is used for disinfecting minor wounds, cuts, abrasions, burns, and surgical sites. It is formulated with Povidone Iodine (5%), a broad-spectrum antiseptic that slowly releases iodine to kill bacteria, fungi, viruses, and protozoa. Iodine penetrates microbial cell walls, disrupts protein synthesis, oxidises enzymes, and interferes with DNA replication, thereby inhibiting the growth of harmful microorganisms. It reduces the risk of infection, promotes faster healing, and maintains a healthy skin barrier while minimising microbial contamination.
