Elketo 2 % Shampoo 75 Ml

Elketo 2 % Shampoo 75 Ml is used to treat dandruff and seborrhoeic dermatitis, helping control the yeast responsible for flaking, itching and scalp irritation in adults.

Uses of Elketo 2 % Shampoo 75 Ml are:

• Dandruff: Reduces flaking and itching caused by excess scalp yeast.
• Seborrhoeic Dermatitis: Helps control this scalp condition and its associated redness.
• Scalp Irritation: Soothes itching and discomfort linked to fungal overgrowth.

• Wet your hair and scalp thoroughly with water.
• Apply a sufficient amount of Elketo 2 % Shampoo 75 Ml to your scalp.
• Gently massage the shampoo into your scalp, working it into a lather. Make sure to cover the entire scalp area.
• Leave the shampoo on your scalp for 5 minutes. It allows the active ingredient, ketoconazole, to have sufficient contact time with the scalp.
• Rinse your hair and scalp thoroughly with water to remove all the shampoo.

Elketo 2 % Shampoo 75 Ml is applied topically.

The active ingredient in Elketo 2 % Shampoo 75 Ml is Ketoconazole (2%). It works on your body in two main ways:

• Inhibits Ergosterol Synthesis: Ketoconazole blocks the formation of ergosterol, a vital component in fungal cell membranes. By preventing ergosterol synthesis, ketoconazole increases the permeability of the fungal cell membrane, causing cellular contents to leak out and leading to fungal cell death. As a result, it manages the growth and spread of fungus on your skin.

• Keep Elketo 2 % Shampoo 75 Ml tightly sealed at a cool room temperature, ideally below 30°C.
• Store it in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
• Always ensure it's out of reach of children.
• Use the product before its expiry date indicated on the packaging.

• Protect your scalp from harsh weather conditions. Wear a hat when exposed to strong sunlight or extreme weather conditions.
