Amtris Cream 50 GM

Amtris Cream is used for managing fungal infections of the skin and nails, including ringworm, athlete’s foot, jock itch, and onychomycosis (fungal nail infection). It contains Amorolfine (0.25%), a broad-spectrum antifungal agent that inhibits fungal growth by disrupting the cell membrane of the fungi. This topical regimen is especially effective against dermatophytes. Amtris Cream helps relieve symptoms like itching, scaling, and redness. It is suitable for external use on clean, dry skin or nails. 

• Amorolfine (0.25%): Amorolfine is a topical antifungal agent that belongs to the class of morpholine derivatives. It works by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, a vital component of fungal cell membranes. Without ergosterol, the integrity of the fungal cell membrane is compromised, which leads to cell death. Amorolfine exhibits broad-spectrum antifungal activity against dermatophytes (such as Trichophyton, Microsporum, Epidermophyton), yeasts (like Candida), and moulds. It is especially effective in managing onychomycosis (fungal nail infections), ringworm, jock itch, and athlete’s foot by stopping the growth of the infection and reducing symptoms like itching, redness, and flaking.

• For Ringworm (Tinea Corporis): It helps manage circular, itchy, red rashes commonly found on the torso, limbs, or face. Amorolfine works by halting fungal growth and reducing inflammation, flaking, and itching.
   
• For Jock Itch (Tinea Cruris): The cream provides relief from fungal infections in the groin area, which may cause redness, burning, and irritation. The cream helps restore skin integrity and manages recurrence.
   
• For Athlete’s Foot (Tinea Pedis): It targets fungal infections between toes or on the soles, often linked to sweating or damp footwear. Amtris helps reduce scaling, cracking, and itching.
   
• Helps Manage Fungal Nail Infections (Onychomycosis): The cream penetrates nail tissue to manage fungal infections. It improves nail appearance and inhibits fungal regrowth.
   
• For Other Fungal Skin Infections: It may also be used under medical advice for managing fungal conditions involving dry, flaky patches.
