Zixflam Tablet contains several active constituents that work together:

• Aceclofenac (100 mg): This ingredient works by inhibiting an enzyme named cyclooxygenase (COX), which is involved in producing prostaglandin substances that cause pain and inflammation. By reducing prostaglandin synthesis, aceclofenac helps diminish pain and swelling associated with musculoskeletal conditions.

• Paracetamol (325 mg): Paracetamol works primarily by inhibiting the cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, specifically COX-2, in the central nervous system, which reduces the production of prostaglandins responsible for pain and fever. It also acts on the hypothalamus to regulate body temperature, providing an antipyretic effect. Unlike NSAIDs, paracetamol has minimal anti-inflammatory activity in peripheral tissues, making it gentler on the stomach.
