Zincold Syrup is a combination medicine used to relieve symptoms of the common cold, hay fever, and allergic upper respiratory conditions in children. It helps ease fever, body aches, runny nose, sneezing, watery eyes, and nasal congestion.
It contains paracetamol (an analgesic), phenylephrine (a decongestant), and chlorpheniramine maleate (an antihistamine). Measure the dose carefully using the provided measuring cup and give it to your child as prescribed by your paediatrician. Do not exceed the recommended duration.
Ensure your child gets plenty of rest and stays hydrated with warm liquids or water. Using a clean humidifier in your child's room can also help ease nasal congestion and make breathing easier.
Tell your doctor if your child has asthma, heart conditions, liver disease, or is taking other medicines. Avoid combining this syrup with other medicines containing paracetamol to prevent accidental overdose. Consult your paediatrician if symptoms persist or worsen.
