Zeoxa Dx Tablet 10

Zeoxa Dx Tablet 10 is used to treat various bacterial infections, including those of the respiratory tract, urinary tract, and skin. It is also effective in managing soft tissue infections and gonorrhea by stopping the growth of the underlying bacteria.

When taking Zeoxa Dx Tablet 10, keep to the following instructions:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush or chew the tablet.
• This medicine can be taken with or without food.
• Always follow your doctor's advice regarding how long to take this medicine.
• It is crucial not to discontinue the medicine without consulting your doctor first.

Zeoxa Dx Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Zeoxa Dx Tablet 10 contains two active antibiotics which work together:

• Cefixime (200 mg): This third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic works by binding to proteins within the bacterial cell wall, rendering them inactive. By doing so, it weakens the cell wall leading to the bacteria eventually bursting and dying.
• Dicloxacillin (500 mg): It is a penicillin-type antibiotic. It works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, effectively targeting and killing susceptible bacteria. This action helps treat bacterial infections caused by gram-positive organisms. Dicloxacillin is particularly effective against penicillinase-producing staphylococci.

• Store your Zeoxa Dx Tablet 10 in a cool, dry place, ideally at room temperature, which is around 30°C.
• Keep the medicine away from direct sunlight and moisture to ensure its effectiveness.
• Always keep this medicine out of the reach of children for their safety.
• Make sure to use your medicine before its expiry date to benefit from its full potency.

• If you are taking Zeoxa Dx Tablet 10 for respiratory infections, avoid smoking and exposure to secondhand smoke. Smoke can irritate your lungs and make symptoms worse.
• Increase your fluid intake for urinary tract infections. Drinking lots of water can help flush bacteria out of your system, helping to manage the infection.
