• Antacid: Simultaneous use of cimetidine, an antacid, with albendazole may reduce albendazole absorptione. Therefore, it is recommended to separate the administration of these drugs by at least two hours.
• Anti-asthma: The simultaneous use of theophylline, an anti-asthma drug, and albendazole may increase the serum levels of theophylline, leading to toxicity. Therefore, the use of these drugs together should be avoided, or their use should be monitored closely.
