Here's how you can use Waxil Ear Drops:

• Clean your hands thoroughly.

• Warm the bottle by rubbing it gently in between your palms for a minute or two.

• Tilt your head sideways, so the affected ear faces upwards. Gently pull the outer ear upwards and backwards.

• Squeeze the drops, as prescribed by your doctor, into the ear canal. Maintain your head in this position for 10 minutes to allow the drops to penetrate.

• Wipe away any excess liquid with a clean cloth. If needed, repeat the process with the other ear.

• Consult a doctor for specific advice on usage.

• Benzocaine (2.7%): This local anaesthetic numbs the ear canal and alleviates pain. It blocks nerve signals, soothing irritation caused by hardened wax pressing against the eardrum and canal walls.

• Paradichlorobenzene (2%): Known as PDCB, this compound is a cerumenolytic agent. It helps soften, disintegrate, and dissolve impacted earwax to aid its removal. PDCB possesses mild antibacterial and antifungal properties.

• Turpentine oil (15%): Derived from pine resin, this essential oil acts as a natural solvent and lubricant. It loosens earwax and lubricates the ear canal for easier wax drainage. It has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory effects.

Together, these work to break down and clear excess or hardened cerumen, while relieving associated ear discomfort.
