Voglow GM 1 Forte Tablet 15 is used for the following:

• Management of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults

• Improvement of insulin sensitivity in diabetic patients

• Management of insulin resistance in type 2 diabetes

Follow these instructions while taking Voglow GM 1 Forte Tablet 15:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.

• Take this medicine with meals.

Voglow GM 1 Forte Tablet 15 is taken orally.

Voglow GM 1 Forte Tablet 15 contains three active ingredients that work together to control blood sugar levels:

• Metformin (1000 mg): This reduces glucose production by the liver, decreases glucose absorption from the intestines, and improves insulin sensitivity in body tissues like muscles. It activates an enzyme called AMP-kinase that plays an important role in cellular metabolism.

• Glimepiride (1 mg): This component stimulates the pancreas to produce more insulin. It binds to specific receptors on pancreatic beta cells, which closes potassium channels and triggers the release of insulin into the bloodstream.

• Voglibose (0.2 mg): This works by inhibiting enzymes in the small intestine that break down carbohydrates. By delaying carbohydrate digestion and absorption, it helps reduce spikes in blood glucose levels after meals.

• Store in a cool, dry place at room temperature (below 30°C).

• Keep the medicine protected from direct light and moisture.

• Store in the original packaging until ready to use.

• Always keep out of reach of children.
