CompositionVentryl LS 1 Syrup is used to relieve a chesty cough with thick, sticky phlegm in conditions such as bronchitis, helping loosen and clear the mucus and open the airways so breathing and coughing are easier.
It contains ambroxol, guaifenesin and levosalbutamol. It contains a mucolytic that thins the phlegm, an expectorant that helps clear it, and a bronchodilator that relaxes the airway muscles.
Take it as prescribed, measuring the dose with the cap or spoon provided, and drink plenty of fluids to help thin the mucus.
Tell your doctor about any heart, thyroid or stomach problems before use. Report a fast or irregular heartbeat, marked tremor, or a cough that lasts more than a week or returns with a high temperature.
