Trivozid Od 80 Capsule 10 is a medicine used as an add-on treatment to manage symptoms of stable angina pectoris in adults whose symptoms are not adequately controlled by, or who cannot tolerate, first-line anti-anginal medicines. It is a single-ingredient medicine containing trimetazidine, which belongs to the metabolic anti-anginal class.
This medicine is taken regularly to reduce the frequency of angina attacks and the need for short-acting nitrate medicines. Take it by mouth with a meal, and swallow it whole with water without crushing or chewing. It is not used to relieve an acute angina attack. Follow the dose, frequency and duration prescribed by your doctor.
Before starting this medicine, inform your doctor if you have kidney problems, Parkinson's disease, tremor, restless legs syndrome or any other movement disorder. Tell your doctor about all medicines, supplements and herbal products you are taking, particularly medicines for blood pressure or other heart conditions. If you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before using this medicine. Older adults may require closer monitoring because of an increased risk of movement problems and falls. Do not stop treatment without your doctor's advice.
