Topfenac Sp Tablet 10

Topfenac SP Tablet is used to relieve pain and inflammation associated with joint and musculoskeletal conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis, in adults.

Uses of Topfenac SP Tablet are:

• Joint and Muscle Pain: Eases pain and stiffness linked to osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis.
• Back and Dental Pain: Helps manage lower back pain and dental pain.
• Post-Surgical and Menstrual Pain: Reduces discomfort after surgery and eases menstrual pain.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Avoid crushing or chewing it.
• You should preferably take it after meals to minimise potential stomach upset.
• Do not exceed the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.

Topfenac Sp Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Topfenac Sp Tablet 10 is a combination medication that contains three active ingredients:

• Aceclofenac (100 mg): It is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicine (NSAID) that works by selectively inhibiting an enzyme called cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2). This enzyme plays a key role in causing inflammation and pain in your body.
• Paracetamol/Acetaminophen (500 mg): It is an analgesic and antipyretic medicine that relieves pain and reduces fever. It does so by inhibiting the synthesis of substances called prostaglandins in the central nervous system, which are responsible for pain and fever sensations.
• Serratiopeptidase (15 mg): is an enzyme derived from the bacteria Serratia marcescens. It works by breaking down fibrin, which helps reduce inflammation and swelling. It also deactivates bradykinin, a substance that causes inflammation.

• Keep Topfenac Sp Tablet 10 in a dry place, shielded from light and moisture.
• Keep it at a temperature below 30°C for storage.
• Always keep the medicine out of reach of children.
