CompositionTenam Ht 10/25mg Tablet 20 is used to manage high blood pressure when a single medicine is not enough, and to help remove excess fluid (oedema) in some heart or liver conditions, lowering the strain on the heart.
It contains enalapril, an ACE inhibitor that relaxes the blood vessels, and hydrochlorothiazide, a diuretic that helps the body remove excess salt and water.
Take it at the same time each day, preferably in the morning so it does not disturb sleep, and continue it even when you feel well.
Do not use it in pregnancy. Tell your doctor about any kidney problems, gout or diabetes before use. A dry cough is common; report swelling of the face, lips or throat straight away, and marked dizziness or muscle cramps.
