CompositionTaxim OFZ Tablet is used to treat mixed bacterial and protozoal infections affecting the digestive, urinary, and respiratory systems. It helps clear the organisms responsible for infections such as diarrhoea, dysentery, and urinary tract infections.
It contains ofloxacin and ornidazole. It is a combination antibacterial and antiprotozoal medicine that offers broad coverage for complex infections. Take it as prescribed, with a full glass of water. Complete the full course even if you begin to feel better, to fully clear the infection and reduce the risk of it returning.
Drink plenty of fluids to stay hydrated, especially if you have diarrhoea, and stick to light, easily digestible meals until your symptoms settle. Maintaining good hand hygiene can help prevent the infection from spreading to others.
Before starting, tell your doctor if you have kidney problems or are taking other medicines. Contact your doctor if you develop a severe rash, persistent vomiting, or if your symptoms do not improve within a few days.
