Taxim O Cv 200 Tablet 10

Taxim-O CV 200 Tablet is used to treat bacterial infections including throat infections, urinary tract infections, middle ear infections, tonsillitis, acute bronchitis and certain sexually transmitted infections.

Uses of Taxim-O CV 200 Tablet are:

• Throat and Ear Infections: Treats pharyngitis, tonsillitis and middle ear infections (otitis media).
• Urinary Tract Infections: Helps clear uncomplicated urinary tract infections.
• Respiratory and Other Infections: Treats acute bronchitis and uncomplicated gonorrhoea.

• Taxim-O CV 200 Tablet should be taken as prescribed by your doctor.
• Swallow it with water, preferably after food, to prevent nausea.
• Do not cut, break or chew the medicine.
• It would be best to take it at a fixed time for optimal results.

Taxim-O CV 200 Tablet has to be taken orally.

Taxim-O CV 200 Tablet contains the following components: 

• Cefixime (200 mg): It is a cephalosporin antibiotic that binds to specific penicillin-binding proteins on the bacterial cell wall and precisely inhibits the third and last stage of bacterial cell wall synthesis. Hence, it stops the growth and multiplication of bacteria. 
• Clavulanic acid (125 mg): It is a beta-lactamase inhibitor. Beta-lactamase enzymes are produced by certain bacteria that can break down and inactivate antibiotics such as penicillins and cephalosporins. Clavulanic acid blocks the action of these beta-lactamase enzymes, thus preventing them from inactivating the antibiotic.

• Store the Taxim-O CV 200 Tablet at room temperature (15-25ºC).
• Please protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep Taxim-O CV 200 Tablet away from children.
• Do not use the Taxim-O CV 200 Tablet after the expiry date has passed.
