CompositionSURFAZ VAGINAL Tablet is used for managing various types of vaginal infections linked with abnormal vaginal discharge. It contains an antifungal medicine from the imidazole class.
This medicine works by damaging the cell membrane of the fungus responsible for the infection, stopping its growth and clearing the infection, while easing the discomfort, odour and irritation that come with it.
Insert the tablet into the vagina using the applicator provided, usually at bedtime, for the number of days your doctor prescribes, and complete the full course even if symptoms improve early.
Avoid sexual intercourse during treatment, or use a barrier method, since this tablet can weaken latex condoms and diaphragms. Tell your doctor if this is your first vaginal infection, if you are pregnant, or if symptoms do not improve within the expected time.
