STRICYTE 200 MG INJECTION 1 contains gemcitabine (200 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Mimics nucleosides and inhibits DNA synthesis: Gemcitabine acts like physiological nucleosides in your body. Physiological nucleosides are nucleosides that are already present normally in the body. The active component of gemcitabine competes with physiological nucleosides during DNA synthesis and blocks the DNA synthesis and cell division of the cancer cells.

• Blocks ribonucleotide reductase: This is an enzyme required for DNA synthesis.

• Controls cancer cell proliferation: By disrupting DNA synthesis and blocking the functions of key enzymes involved in cell division, gemcitabine controls rapid cancer cell growth.

• Store STRICYTE 200 MG INJECTION 1 vials at room temperature, ideally between 20 °C to 25 °C.

• Protect the product from light exposure.

• After being mixed for use, keep it in the fridge at 28 °C. Use within 35 days.
