Strepsils Honey L 1.2/0.6mg Tablet is used for relieving sore throat, cough, mouth ulcers, tonsillitis, and pharyngitis associated with viral or bacterial infections and irritants like pollution or dry air. It is formulated with 2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol (1.2 mg) and Amylmetacresol (0.6 mg), both antiseptics that help inhibit the growth of bacteria and viruses in the throat. Dissolving the lozenge in the mouth allows the active ingredients to soothe irritation, lubricate the throat, and temporarily relieve pain, discomfort, and inflammation. Strepsils is generally safe for adults and children over six years, easy to use orally, and can be taken with or without food.
