Spasmo Proxyvon Forte Injection 2ml is used to relieve severe abdominal pain and cramps caused by spasms of the gut, urinary tract or bile ducts. It is a combination medicine containing dicyclomine, an antispasmodic, and diclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicine (NSAID).
This medicine is also used to relieve colicky pain from kidney stones or gallstones and painful periods when quick relief is needed. It is given by a healthcare professional as an injection into a muscle only, usually as a single dose or short course, after which tablets may be used if needed.
Resting and drinking enough fluids, unless your doctor advises otherwise, can support recovery. For kidney stone pain, drinking plenty of water may help.
Before receiving this injection, tell your doctor if you have had stomach ulcers or bleeding, asthma, heart disease or a stroke, high blood pressure, glaucoma, difficulty passing urine, or liver or kidney disease, and about other medicines you take. It is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. It may cause dizziness or blurred vision, so do not drive if affected. Tell your healthcare team straight away if you have breathing difficulty, a rash or black stools. Do not stop the treatment unless your doctor advises you to do so.
