Solinec 10 Tablet 10 is used for the following:

• Managing overactive bladder syndrome

• Reducing urgent need to urinate

• Decreasing frequent urination

• Controlling urge incontinence

• Preventing involuntary bladder contractions

• Increasing bladder capacity

• Reducing night-time urination

• Managing bladder muscle overactivity

• Improving urinary control in adults

• Reducing bathroom visits throughout the day

Follow these instructions while taking Solinec 10 Tablet 10:

• Swallow the medicine whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush, break, or chew the tablet.

• You can take this medicine with or without food.

• Take it at the same time each day for best results.

Solinec 10 Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Solinec 10 Tablet 10 contains Solifenacin (10 mg), which works on the body as follows:

• Antimuscarinic Action: Solifenacin works by blocking muscarinic receptors, particularly the M3 subtype, which are found in the bladder's smooth muscle tissue.

• Reduced Bladder Contractions: By blocking these receptors, solifenacin prevents acetylcholine (a chemical messenger in your body) from activating the bladder muscles, thereby reducing unwanted and involuntary contractions.

• Increased Bladder Capacity: The medicine helps relax the bladder muscle, allowing the bladder to hold more urine before sending signals that trigger the urge to urinate.

• Decreased Urgency Signals: Solifenacin reduces the intensity of nerve signals that create the sensation of urgency, helping you feel more in control of your bladder function.

• Store in its original packaging at room temperature (below 30°C).

• Keep in a dry place protected from moisture.

• Store away from direct sunlight and heat.

• Always keep out of reach of children.

• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the package.

• Drink plenty of water throughout the day to help maintain good bladder health.

• Include more fibre-rich foods in your diet, such as fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, to prevent constipation, which can worsen overactive bladder symptoms.
