Softner Suspension 200 ML

Softner Suspension is used for managing occasional constipation. It combines three complementary actions in one product. Liquid paraffin (1.25 ml) helps soften and lubricate the faecal matter, magnesium hydroxide (3.75 ml) draws water into the colon to hydrate the stools, and sodium picosulphate (3.33 mg) works by gently stimulating the intestinal muscles. 

• Liquid Paraffin (1.25 ml): Liquid paraffin helps manage stool texture by coating intestinal walls and entrapping water within the faecal mass. This lubricant action makes stools more pliable and easier to pass, reducing discomfort during defecation without systemic absorption.
   
• Magnesium Hydroxide (3.75 ml): Magnesium hydroxide helps manage bowel regularity by osmotically drawing fluid into the large intestine. Increased water content in the colon softens stools and encourages gentle peristalsis, supporting effective and comfortable evacuation.
   
• Sodium Picosulphate (3.33 mg): Sodium picosulphate helps manage intestinal motility by converting to an active stimulant in the colon. It promotes mild muscle contractions, helping the movement of stool through the bowel, and works synergistically with osmotic agents.
   
• Other Ingredients: purified water, sucrose, methylparaben, propylparaben, natural mango flavour.

• Ensure suspension is uniform.
• Use the supplied dosing cup for accurate volume.
• Take orally once daily at bedtime or as prescribed.
• Drink plenty of fluids to enhance osmotic action.
• Discontinue if no relief after 7 days and consult your doctor.
