CompositionSnee Syrup is used in children to relieve the symptoms of the common cold, hay fever and upper respiratory allergies, easing a blocked or runny nose, sneezing and watery eyes, and bringing down fever and mild aches.
It contains paracetamol, which relieves fever and aches, phenylephrine, a decongestant that reduces swelling in the nose, and chlorpheniramine, an antihistamine that calms the allergic response.
Shake the bottle well and give the dose the doctor advises, usually every 4 to 6 hours. It may cause mild sleepiness.
Do not give it with other paracetamol-containing products, to avoid an accidental overdose. Tell the doctor about any heart problems before use.
