SISTAL AP Tablet 10 is used to manage pain, swelling, and inflammation caused by conditions such as arthritis, dental procedures, sports injuries, and recovery after surgery.
It contains aceclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, paracetamol, which relieves pain and lowers fever, and the enzymes trypsin and chymotrypsin, which help reduce tissue swelling. Take the tablet as prescribed by your doctor, preferably with food to reduce the chance of stomach upset.
Applying a cold or warm compress to painful or swollen areas alongside this medicine may provide additional comfort. Avoid alcohol during treatment, as it increases the risk of stomach irritation when taking anti-inflammatory medicines.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have any stomach, kidney, liver, or heart problems, or are taking blood thinners or other anti-inflammatory medicines. This medicine should be avoided during pregnancy, particularly in the third trimester, and used with caution in elderly patients. Tell your doctor if you experience unusual stomach pain or notice black or tarry stools.
