Acezoom Xl 100/325 Mg Tablet 10 is a pain and swelling relief medicine used to manage pain, swelling and inflammation from conditions such as arthritis, dental pain, injuries and recovery after surgery. It is a combination medicine containing aceclofenac (an anti-inflammatory painkiller), paracetamol (which relieves pain and fever) and trypsin and chymotrypsin (enzymes that may help reduce tissue swelling), and belongs to a class of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID) combination medicines.
This medicine works by reducing the substances in the body that cause pain and inflammation, which relieves discomfort and improves movement. The enzymes may act as an add-on for swelling, although evidence that they speed up healing is limited. Take it as directed, preferably after meals, and complete the course your doctor prescribes.
Resting the painful area, gentle movement as advised and not using more than one painkiller at a time can help your recovery alongside this treatment.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have stomach or bowel problems such as ulcers or bleeding, kidney or heart conditions, high blood pressure, or take other painkillers or any other paracetamol containing medicine. It should not be used for long periods and should be avoided in the last three months of pregnancy. Seek medical help if you notice black stools, vomiting blood or swelling of the face or lips.
