Simcon Junior Tablet interacts with the following medicines:

• Enzyme-Inhibiting Drugs: Medicines like warfarin and phenytoin may interact with Simcon Junior Tablet, potentially affecting their metabolism and increasing their levels in your child's body.

• Immunosuppressants: Interaction with medicines like cyclosporine can lead to increased cyclosporine concentration in the body due to fluconazole's inhibitory effect on certain enzymes.

• QT Prolonging Medications: Drugs such as quinidine and pimozide can interact with this medicine, potentially leading to a prolonged QT interval which can affect your child's heart rhythm.

Simcon Junior Tablet does not have any known food interactions. Your child can continue their normal diet while taking this medication.

Simcon Junior Tablet interacts with the following diseases:

• Liver Disease: Children with liver disease may need dosage adjustments as fluconazole is metabolised by the liver.

• Renal Impairment: Kidney disease might affect the excretion of fluconazole from your child's body, necessitating careful dose management.

• Cardiac Diseases: If your child has any heart-related conditions, caution is required due to potential QT prolongation caused by fluconazole.

The daily dosage of Simcon Junior Tablet should be given as prescribed by your child's doctor.
