Simbrinza Ophthalmic Suspension is used to lower raised pressure inside the eye in adults with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension, particularly when a single medicine is not enough, which helps protect the optic nerve and vision.
It contains brimonidine and brinzolamide. It combines two medicines that lower eye pressure in different ways, mainly by reducing the fluid the eye makes.
Shake the bottle well, put the prescribed number of drops in the affected eye, then close the eye and press on the inner corner for about a minute to reduce how much is absorbed.
Tell your doctor about any asthma, heart or kidney problems or depression before use, as one of the components can affect these. Remove contact lenses first and wait 15 minutes before reinserting.
