Serra A Tablet 10

Serra A Tablet 10 is used in adults to relieve pain, inflammation and swelling associated with musculoskeletal and joint conditions.

Uses of Serra A Tablet 10 are:

• Muscle and Back Pain: Relieves pain and inflammation caused by strains, sprains, injuries and back conditions.
• Dental or Postoperative Pain: May be prescribed to reduce pain and swelling after dental procedures or surgery.
• Arthritis: Helps manage pain, swelling and stiffness in rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and osteoarthritis.

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet.

• Always take this medicine with food to reduce the risk of stomach upset.

• Never exceed the recommended dose without consulting your doctor.

• Remember to consult your doctor if you need to stop taking this medicine.

Serra A Tablet 10 is taken orally.

Serra A Tablet 10 contains two active ingredients:

• Aceclofenac (100 mg): This ingredient belongs to the NSAID class of medicines. Its primary function is to inhibit the production of prostaglandins, chemicals in the body that cause pain and inflammation. It does so by blocking an enzyme known as cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), which reduces inflammation in affected tissues.

• Serratiopeptidase (15 mg): This is a proteolytic enzyme derived from a type of bacteria called Serratia marcescens. It works by breaking down abnormal proteins at sites of inflammation, reducing swelling, and improving drainage of inflammatory fluids, thereby promoting healing.

• Store Serra A Tablet 10 at a cool room temperature, ideally between 15-30°C.

• Keep it in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.

• Make sure to keep this medicine out of reach of children.

• Always check the expiry date on the package before use.

• For conditions like rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis, incorporate Omega-3-rich foods such as fish, flaxseeds and walnuts into your diet. Omega-3 fatty acids are known to reduce inflammation.
