Dosage Forms Available

• The combination of Aceclofenac + Serratiopeptidase can be taken orally (tablets)

Age And Dose Restrictions

• This combination is intended to be used by adults only. It is not recommended for children.

Contraindications 

• This combination is contraindicated in patients with a history of allergies to Aceclofenac + Serratiopeptidase. It is also contraindicated in patients with an active or history of recurrent peptic ulcer/haemorrhage, history of stomach/intestinal bleeding or perforation relating to previous NSAID therapy, severe heart diseases, liver failure, kidney failure, during the last three months of pregnancy, acute porphyria, and in patients with a known history of asthma due to aspirin or other NSAIDs. 

Medications To Avoid With This Drug 

• Avoid taking antiarrhythmics (digoxin), diuretics, antihypertensive, anticoagulants, other NSAIDs, antidiabetics, immunosuppressive medications (methotrexate, cyclosporine and tacrolimus), quinolone antimicrobials, prokinetic agents (metoclopramide and domperidone). These medications may alter the safety and effectiveness of Aceclofenac + Serratiopeptidase.

Overdose And Missed Dose

• Overdose can cause headache, nausea, vomiting, stomach/intestinal irritation and bleeding, and abdominal pain. These symptoms need to be managed as an emergency in a hospital setting. Therefore, strict adherence to the prescribed dose is essential.
• If you miss a dose of Aceclofenac + Serratiopeptidase, take it as soon as you remember. But, if the next dose is near, skip the missed dose and resume the regular dosing regime.

Management Of Side Effects

• If side effects worsen or persist, consult your doctor for a possible treatment plan adjustment.

Use In Driving And Operating Machinery

• This combination can make you feel dizzy, drowsy, tired, and have visual disturbances. Do not drive, operate machinery, or do other activities that require mental alertness or coordination until you know how this medication affects you. 

Use In Pregnancy And Lactation

• This combination is not recommended during pregnancy, and is contraindicated during the last three months of preganancy. Caution is advised in breastfeeding women.

Caution In Other Conditions

• Caution is advised in older adults and in patients with heart, liver, and kidney conditions, asthma, high blood pressure, acute porphyria.
• Special Dietary And Lifestyle Recommendation
• Avoid alcohol consumption, as it may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding.
• Reduce the consumption of processed foods, refined sugars, saturated fats, and foods high in trans fats. These foods can promote inflammation in the body and worsen pain.
• Excess weight can put a strain on joints and exacerbate pain. Aim to maintain a healthy weight through a balanced diet and regular exercise.
• Maintain a good body posture and body mechanics when performing daily activities. Use proper lifting techniques, maintain good posture while sitting and standing, and avoid repetitive motions that can strain muscles and joints.
