ROVASDAY CL20 CAPSULE 10 is used to manage high cholesterol and reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke in people at high cardiovascular risk, including those with peripheral artery disease, by lowering cholesterol and helping to prevent blood clots.

ROVASDAY CL20 CAPSULE 10 has two active ingredients that work in different ways:

• Clopidogrel (75 mg): Clopidogrel belongs to a group of medicines known as antiplatelet agents. It functions by blocking a receptor on platelets, which are blood cells that help form clots. This prevents these platelets from sticking together and forming clots. As a result, it reduces the risk of heart attacks and strokes caused by blocked arteries.

• Rosuvastatin (20 mg): As a statin or HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor, Rosuvastatin blocks an enzyme in the liver that makes cholesterol. This action lowers total cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein (bad cholesterol), and triglycerides in the blood while slightly raising high-density lipoprotein (good cholesterol). By doing so, it helps stop cholesterol from building up in the arteries, thereby reducing the chances of heart disease and stroke.
