Rolfin Cream is used for managing the following conditions:

• Athlete's foot, also known as Tinea Pedis.

• Jock itch or Tinea Cruris, a fungal infection affecting the groin area.

• Ringworm of the body, referred to medically as Tinea Corporis.

• Fungal infection of the hands, a condition known as Tinea manuum.

• Cutaneous candidiasis is a type of skin yeast infection.

• Pityriasis versicolor is a common skin condition caused by an overgrowth of yeast on the skin's surface.

To use Rolfin Cream, follow these instructions:

• Make sure the affected skin area is clean and dry before applying the cream.

• Apply a thin layer of cream on the infection site and gently rub it in.

• Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and nostrils during application.

• After application, wash your hands thoroughly unless you are treating a hand infection.

• For specific usage instructions tailored to your condition, consult your doctor.

Rolfin Cream is applied topically.

Rolfin Cream contains amorolfine (0.25 %) which works on the body as follows:

• Disrupts Ergosterol Biosynthesis: Amorolfine affects the biosynthesis of ergosterol, a crucial component of fungal cell membranes. By disrupting this process, it alters membrane permeability.

• Destroys Fungal Cells: The alterations in membrane permeability disrupt vital metabolic processes within fungal cells, eventually leading to cell death. This action helps manage and control various fungal skin infections.

• Store Rolfin Cream at room temperature, ideally below 25°C.

• Keep away from direct heat and moisture to maintain its efficacy.

• Ensure the container is tightly closed when not in use to prevent exposure to air.

• Always keep this medicine out of reach of children.

• Maintain proper hygiene, regularly wash and dry your skin, particularly those areas prone to fungal infections such as feet, groin, and underarms. This helps manage conditions like athlete's foot (tinea pedis) and jock itch (tinea cruris).

• Wear breathable clothing, opt for clothes made from natural fibres like cotton or bamboo. This minimises moisture build-up on the skin surface which can encourage fungal growth, a key factor in conditions like ringworm of the body (tinea corporis).
