Rasinson 0.5 Tablet 10 is prescribed in adults for the management of idiopathic Parkinson’s disease. This condition results from reduced dopamine activity in specific brain regions. This tablet belongs to the class of medicines known as Monoamine Oxidase Type B (MAO-B) inhibitors.
This medicine helps improve motor function by enhancing the availability of dopamine in the brain. It can be used alone (monotherapy) in early Parkinson’s disease or in combination with levodopa in more advanced cases to reduce “off” episodes when symptoms reappear between doses.
This medicine does not cure Parkinson’s disease but offers symptomatic relief, thereby improving quality of life. The dosage and duration of therapy should be strictly followed as advised by your doctor. If any unusual symptoms occur during treatment, medical attention must be sought without delay.
