Pred Forte Ophthalmic Suspension is used for short-term control of severe eye inflammation and discomfort.

• Pred Forte Ophthalmic Suspension is intended for external use only. It should be used according to your doctor's prescribed dose and duration. 
• Before using the medication, read and follow the directions on the label. 
• To administer the eye drops, hold the dropper near the eye without touching it. 
• Gently squeeze the dropper to release the medicine into the lower eyelid.
• Any excess liquid can be wiped off. It is essential to use the medication correctly to ensure its effectiveness and avoid potential complications.

• The medication is for external ophthalmic use only, which means the drops are directly administered to the eyes.

• Pred Forte Ophthalmic Suspension reduces inflammation in the eye at the molecular level. The active ingredient in the suspension, prednisolone acetate, belongs to a class of medications called corticosteroids. When applied directly to the eye, it enters the tissues and targets cells involved in the inflammatory response.
• At the molecular level, prednisolone acetate inhibits the production of certain chemicals called cytokines and enzymes that promote inflammation. Doing so helps suppress the immune response and reduce swelling, redness, and discomfort in the eye.

The storage instructions for Pred Forte Ophthalmic Suspension are as follows:

• Pred Forte Ophthalmic Suspension should be stored at room temperature, at 25°C.
• Please protect it from light and moisture.
• Keep Pred Forte Ophthalmic Suspension away from children.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date has passed.

• Incorporate omega-3 fatty acid-rich foods like salmon, mackerel, and sardines, or take omega-3 fatty acid supplements. 
• Reduce coffee consumption and switch to green tea, as coffee can raise eye pressure. 
• Follow a diet with antioxidant-rich foods like dark-green leafy vegetables, whole grains, citrus fruits, and broccoli. 
• Avoid processed foods such as high-fat meats, sugary foods, dairy products, and fast foods, as they may contribute to inflammation.

• Follow the prescribed duration of using Pred Forte Ophthalmic Suspension and avoid using it for longer than recommended. 
• Be careful not to touch the tip of the dropper to any surface or your eye to prevent contamination. 
• After instilling the drop, apply gentle pressure on the corner of your eye near the nose for about 1 minute. 
• Allow 5-10 minutes between administering the following medication in the same eye to prevent dilution. 
• If you experience a stinging sensation, it should subside within 1-2 minutes, but if it persists, inform your doctor. 
• Remove soft contact lenses before using the eye drops and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting them.
