Powerflox-tz 400/600 MG Tablet 10 is used to treat diarrhea and dysentery caused by infections. It effectively manages bacterial infections such as Escherichia coli, Shigella, Salmonella, and Campylobacter jejuni. Additionally, it addresses amebic dysentery, intestinal amebiasis from Entamoeba histolytica, giardiasis from Giardia lamblia, and trichomoniasis, a sexually transmitted infection caused by Trichomonas vaginalis.

Powerflox-tz 400/600 MG Tablet 10 contains two active components:

• Norfloxacin (400 mg): This ingredient belongs to the fluoroquinolone class of antibiotics. It manages bacterial infections by blocking certain enzymes in bacteria called DNA-gyrase and topoisomerase IV. These enzymes are crucial for bacteria to replicate their DNA and reproduce. By inhibiting these enzymes, Norfloxacin causes the bacteria to die.
• Tinidazole (600 mg): Tinidazole is an antimicrobial agent that works against anaerobic bacteria and certain parasites. It enters these organisms and undergoes a chemical reaction that produces toxic substances. These toxic substances damage the DNA of these organisms, resulting in their death.

• Store Powerflox-tz 400/600 MG Tablet 10 in a tightly closed container.
• Keep the medicine at room temperature, ideally below 30°C.
