CompositionPERINORM INJECTION 1 ML is used to treat nausea, vomiting, indigestion and heartburn, including sickness caused by digestive problems, illness or medical treatment. It is also used for symptoms of gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
It contains metoclopramide, an anti-sickness prokinetic. It works by improving the movement of the stomach and gut and by blocking the signals in the brain that trigger vomiting.
It is given by a healthcare professional. Use it only for the short period advised.
Because it can rarely cause muscle twitches or spasms, particularly in younger people, it is used at the lowest effective dose for a short time. Report any unusual movements at once.
