Composition

Domperidone (10 Mg) + Pantoprazole (40 Mg)

Pentab-D Tablet is used to treat acidity, heartburn, GERD, and digestive discomfort caused by excess stomach acid and poor gut movement. It reduces acid production and improves stomach emptying, which prevents acid reflux, bloating, nausea, and sour burps. This dual action provides longer-lasting relief and promotes healing of the stomach lining. It is also helpful in peptic ulcer disease and indigestion. Regular use improves digestion and prevents recurrence of acid symptoms. Take it before meals as prescribed and continue the treatment for the full recommended duration.

Pentab-D Tablet is used to treat GERD, heartburn, acidity, and peptic ulcer disease. It lowers stomach acid, improves digestion, relieves irritation in the food pipe, and is also useful in controlling excessive acid production seen in Zollinger–Ellison syndrome.

Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
Do not crush or chew the tablet.
Follow your doctor's advice on how often to take this medicine.

Pantoprazole (40 mg): Falling under the class of proton pump inhibitors, pantoprazole works by blocking a system called H+/K+ ATPase enzyme in the gastric parietal cells that line your stomach and secrete gastric acid. This action effectively reduces gastric acid secretion, relieving symptoms of GERD, heartburn, and acidity and promoting the healing of gastric and duodenal ulcers.
Domperidone (10 mg): This ingredient acts as an antiemetic and prokinetic agent. It plays a vital role in blocking dopamine receptors in your gut and an area known as the chemoreceptor trigger zone, which is outside the blood-brain barrier. By doing so, domperidone helps reduce feelings of nausea and vomiting while increasing the movement of food through your digestive system.

Pregnancy

Caution is advised while taking this tablet if you are pregnant. It is best to consult your doctor before taking this medicine.

Breastfeeding
