Pazom D Tablet is used to treat acid reflux, gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and stomach ulcers, providing relief from heartburn, chronic acidity and indigestion. It also helps manage conditions where the stomach produces excess acid or empties too slowly, such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome and gastroparesis.
It contains domperidone and pantoprazole. It is a combination medicine containing a proton pump inhibitor, which reduces stomach acid, along with a medicine that improves gastric motility and helps control nausea and vomiting. Take it before meals, as prescribed by your doctor. Continue taking it for the full duration advised, even if your symptoms improve early.
Eating smaller, more frequent meals, avoiding spicy or fatty foods, and not lying down soon after eating can help reduce acid reflux and indigestion alongside this medicine.
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have any kidney or liver problems, or are taking other medicines. Tell your doctor if you notice black stools, persistent stomach pain, or difficulty swallowing, as these may need further assessment.
