Pantolab DSR Capsule is used to treat gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD), acid-related indigestion and peptic ulcers, relieving symptoms such as heartburn, bloating, nausea and sour burps. It contains a combination of pantoprazole and domperidone.
Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor that lowers stomach acid production, while domperidone improves stomach emptying and eases nausea. Take the capsule on an empty stomach before breakfast, as prescribed by your doctor, and continue for the full course even once you feel better.
Eating smaller, more frequent meals, avoiding spicy or fatty foods, caffeine, alcohol and smoking, and not lying down soon after eating can help ease reflux alongside this medicine.
Tell your doctor if you have low potassium or magnesium levels, kidney or liver disease, or an irregular heart rhythm, or if you take other medicines, before starting. Report severe or persistent diarrhoea, stomach pain or signs of an allergic reaction.
