Pangraf 2.0 Capsule 10

PanGraf 2.0 Capsule is used for the following:

• Helping to prevent organ rejection in adults after kidney transplants

• Assisting in the prevention of organ rejection in adults after liver transplants

• Aiding in the prevention of organ rejection in adults after heart transplants

Here are some guidelines on how to take PanGraf 2.0 Capsule:

• Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water.

• Do not open, chew, or crush the capsule.

PanGraf 2.0 Capsule is taken orally.

PanGraf 2.0 Capsule contains Tacrolimus (2 Mg), which works on the body in the following ways:

• Binds to FKBP-12: Tacrolimus binds to an intracellular protein called FKBP-12. This protein is found inside your cells and plays a key role in the immune response.

• Inhibits Calcineurin: The binding of tacrolimus to FKBP-12 forms a complex that inhibits the action of an enzyme called calcineurin. This enzyme is involved in activating T-lymphocytes, which are a type of white blood cell involved in immune reactions.

• Suppresses Cell-Mediated Immune Reactions: By inhibiting calcineurin, tacrolimus effectively reduces the activation of T-lymphocytes and the subsequent transcription of interleukin-2 (IL-2), a substance that stimulates the growth and differentiation of T cells. This overall mechanism helps suppress cell-mediated immune reactions, thus reducing the risk of organ rejection after transplant.

• Store PanGraf 2.0 Capsule in its original blister pack to protect it from air and light.

• Keep the medicine at room temperature, ideally below 25°C.

• Do ensure that you keep this medication out of reach of children.

• Always remember to use the medicine before its expiry date.

• Avoid grapefruit and grapefruit juice, as these can increase the levels of tacrolimus, the active ingredient in PanGraf 2.0 Capsule.

• Regular monitoring of blood glucose is essential, as PanGraf 2.0 Capsule may cause a rise in blood sugar levels. Adjust your diet accordingly and consult your doctor for any major changes.
