Ozotel-H Tablet is used in the long-term management of high blood pressure in adults when a single medicine is not sufficient.

Here's how to take Ozotel-H Tablet:

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

• The tablet can be taken with or without food, as per your preference.

• Avoid breaking, crushing, or chewing the tablet.

• Strictly follow your doctor's advice on the dosage and duration.

• Do not abruptly stop taking this medicine without discussing it with your doctor first.

Ozotel-H Tablet is taken orally.

Ozotel-H Tablet combines the actions of two active ingredients:

• Hydrochlorothiazide (12.5 mg): This ingredient acts as a diuretic by reducing the reabsorption of sodium and chloride ions in your kidney tubules. As a result, it increases urine output and reduces blood volume. This action lowers your blood pressure.

• Telmisartan (40 mg): Telmisartan works by blocking the effects of angiotensin II, a hormone that can constrict blood vessels and release aldosterone, a hormone that can increase sodium levels in the body. By selectively blocking angiotensin II's binding to its receptor in various tissues, telmisartan relaxes your blood vessels and lowers your blood pressure.

• Store your Ozotel-H Tablet at room temperature below 30°C.

• Keep the medicine in its original packaging to protect it from light and moisture.

• Always stay vigilant to keep this medicine out of the reach of children.

• Ensure you use the medicine before its expiry date, as indicated on the package.

• Keep a check on your salt intake. Excessive salt can raise blood pressure, counteracting the effect of Ozotel-H Tablet. Try to limit processed foods, which are often high in sodium.

• Mild exercise, such as brisk walking or cycling for 30 minutes a day, can help manage high blood pressure. Always consult your doctor before starting any new fitness programme.
